What will you receive by working at SMART?

  • Salary range is between £23,000 and £26,000 per annum, based on full-time position and experience.
  • 20 days holiday, plus bank holidays, as a minimum. There is no fighting for holiday at Christmas and New Year, as the office is closed.
  • We’ll contribute to your pension scheme.
  • Team events. Mostly food but we are always open to ideas 😃

What do we need you, the accounting superstar, to be? You will:

  • Have at least 3 years post-qualification experience in practice or be qualified by experience.
  • Take a balance sheet approach to preparing accounts.
  • Be able to advise business owner-managers in basic tax planning.
  • Be confident in looking after clients. You’ll know when to pick up the phone, offer a Zoom or just to say, ‘Hi, how are you?’
  • love to educate your clients on the best tax, accounting or bookkeeping practices, systems or processes, for their business.
  • Supporting your colleagues, sharing your knowledge across the team when needed.
  • Be a QBO and Xero whizz.
